During the search, officials found five live cartridges, leading to immediate action by the authorities.

Following the discovery, the police registered a case and arrested a 23-year-old man connected to the incident. Investigations revealed that the cartridges were allegedly brought from Bihar by a friend who was visiting a student staying in the hostel.

Police officials have begun a detailed investigation to determine how the ammunition entered the campus and whether anyone else was involved. The cartridges have been sent for forensic examination to gather further evidence.
