Young man gets electrocuted at Siddhivinayak Temple

On Monday night, 22-year-old Mohammed Nasim died due to an electric current in the vicinity of Prabhadevi’s Siddhivinayak Temple. This incident took place when the temple was being decorated for Angarki Chaturthi, which was celebrated on Tuesday. The incident was reported to Dadar police station as an accidental death case.



This is how the incident unfolded 

Slain Mohammed Nasim is a UP resident and used to reside at Sewri with his relatives. He was the sole earner and had come to Mumbai in search of a job.

Mohammed was working with Manish decorators who was given a contract to decorate Siddhivinayak temple on the occasion of Angarki Chaturthi. Likewise, Mohammed was busy decorating the premises and while doing so, he accidentally touched the barricades which had an electric current passing through it which left him unconscious.

He was immediately rushed to KEM Hospital where he was declared dead during the treatment.
