Hitting a dog who cannot write is absolutely obnoxious, but hey, this is 2017 and people are unpredictable! A video has gone viral where a dog was slapped for not able to write A, B, C.

In the 29-second video, one can see a man clutching the dog's paw and making him write A, B, and C. When the dog is looking away, he slaps the dog again and again. He keeps doing it until the dog runs away.

When the video went viral, a lot of people took to Twitter and other social networking websites and asked to take action against the man. Seeing the comments, YouTube pulled down the video, however, it is still there on the uploader’s YouTube page.

Human brutality against animals

This is not it, Mumbai Mirror recently reported an incident where an accused Girish Sant, Thane resident, purposely mowed down the dog with his Ford EcoSport car and killed him brutally.

The dog was sitting in the building compound when the accused drove his car over, injuring him and then he reversed the car on his head killing him instantly.

The incident took place on October 24 in a housing complex - Nivara Palmsprings Society in Thane. When the animal lovers shared the video with animal welfare officer Sanjeev Dighe, he went to the police and filed a complaint against Sant (the accused).

An FIR was lodged against Sant under sections 429 (mischief by killing or maiming cattle, etc., of any value or any animal of the value of fifty rupees) of the Indian Penal Code and sections 11(1) (L) (punishment for killing animals cruelly) of prevention of cruelty to animals act. When police went to his place, his home was locked and police are now looking out for him.

Cruelty against animals has been on the rise and at times, brutality knows no bounds. It is just sickening to see how some people steep to a new low by harming the voiceless.
