Mumbai- A woman has pressed rape charges against her former lover, who is now behind bars.
Rekha (name changed) and Salim were in love with each other. But Rekha was married off to some other man. A hurt Salim decided to seek revenge. He started stalking Rekha and raped her at knifepoint, several times. Rekha mustered the courage to approach the Kurar police station and registered a complaint against Salim, who has been booked under section 376 of the IPC.
