A man molesting a girl in broad daylight at railway station once again raises a doubt about women's safety in the city.
On Thursday morning, a 43-year-old pervert tried kissing a 21-year-old girl at Turbhe station. He was calm and did not regret his actions but when the girl resisted the man, he ran away. But with the help of CCTV footage and railway security forces, he was arrested in a few hours.
The 20-year-old woman works in a private company at Ghansoli. Just like any other day, on Thursday morning, she arrived at Turbhe railway station to board the train. She was looking into the mobile when a man, who was following her, stood in front of her and tried kissing her.
She was taken aback for a second and with all her strength she pushed him away. The pervert after attempting to molest her, walked away calmly as we can see in the CCTV footage.
The moment he walked away, the woman went to the RPF and filed a police complaint. Meanwhile, the police checked the CCTV footage and RPF constable Nilesh Dalvi and Rahul Kumar rushed towards the platform. They were successful in nabbing the pervert on platform no. 2 and 3 when he was walking along the subway.
Accused Naresh Joshi is under the custody of Vashi GRP who is investigating the case.
