Antop Hill – A fight broke out between two groups over where one of the members assaulted the member of another group. This incident took place on Friday at Antop Hill’s Pandian lane. Wadala TT police have arrested accused Kamran and Wasim aka Machhi Bharni after the chaos.
These two groups used to fight over ‘Galli ka bhai kaun?’ (Who owns the lane?). On Friday evening, Omprakash Yadav and his friends were passing from Pandian lane when they were attacked by Kamran and Wasim with tube light and knife. Omprakash tried defending himself but got injured. Seeing Yadav injured, both Kamran and Wasim fled from the spot. Meanwhile, Yadav’s friends got him admitted to Sion hospital where doctors shifted him to ICU. Wadala TT police then arrested Kamran and Wasim who were hiding in the slums. Police are further investigating the matter.
