A minor girl was allegedly assaulted and molested by a boy as the entire incident was captured on CCTV camera.

Police have registered a case under sections 324 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and initiated a probe as this took place on October 17 and a complaint was filed at the Nehru Nagar Police Station. The accused Imran Shahid Shaikh was later arrested and bailed out.
The 16-year-old suffered facial injuries and has a broken nose. According to reports, she was near her building and a group of youths, who were seated inside a parked autorickshaw, were speaking loudly. The girl asked them not to make noise and then walked some distance with her friend after which the enraged Shaikh attacked the girl with a metal object.
The girl was going to her tuition classes when the accused attacked her. When the girl raised an alarm, the boy brutally assaulted her.
