Mumbai: On 31 December, when the city was enjoying New Year's eve, a mother daughter duo abducted a 7-year-old girl from opposite GT hospital.
Anxious family members started searching for seven year old Vaishnavi (7) when she went missing on New Year's eve. The neighbours visited Azad Nagar police station and a missing complaint was lodged. Senior police inspector Vijay Kadam launched investigations, and his team were soon successful in arresting the abductors Seeta Devi Sahane (42) and Pinki Sahane (22). The minor has been reunited with her family.
