How did Manoj Sane kill Saraswati?

According to the police report, Manoj Sane had plotted to kill his live-in partner and alleged wife Saraswati Vaidya. He bought pesticide from a shop in Borivali. He mixed this insecticide with ghee and gave it to Saraswati. When Manoj was arrested in the case of Saraswati's murder, Manoj Sane had told the police that Saraswati had committed suicide by drinking poison. He also said that he was dismembering her body to avoid getting caught. But now it was Manoj who killed Saraswati by poisoning her with buttermilk and then dismembered her body.

Manoj Sane bought pesticide from a shop in Borivali. The police have also said that the shopkeeper has identified Manoj Sane. Because after selling the pesticide, its name, its batch number have to be recorded in the register. The police also said that the details of the pesticide found in Sane's house are identical to that of the shopkeeper's shop, and that the pesticide has been seized.


Use of Nilgiri oil, room freshener

After Manoj Sane killed Saraswati and dismembered her body, Manoj had applied eucalyptus oil to her body and had also used room freshener in the house. He had done all these things to prevent the stench of the dead body from spreading. Police have seized five bottles of nilgiri oil from his house. Also, statements of the shopkeepers from where Manoj Sane had bought buttermilk and bottles of nilgiri oil have also been recorded.
