MLA Ramesh Kadam caught on camera abusing police officer

NCP MLA Ramesh Kadam who is accused of misappropriating funds from a corporation which provides financing to members of the OBCs was seen hurling abuses to cops outside Byculla Jail. Kadam is under judicial custody from August. Police officers on Thursday in order to take him to JJ hospital asked him to come out but he didn't turn up. Ramesh Kadam didn't come out and kept the team waiting for an hour. At 12.30 pm, Kadam came out of the jail and started delaying so that he can remain outside for a longer duration, as the OPD remains close from 1.00 pm - 4.00 pm. 

This behaviour of Kadam didn't get down well with the team. Ramesh Kadam was adamant that he will not go with the team for his check-up and this infused verbal spat between police officers and Kadam.

Kadam was complaining of pain in his knees in this regard his MRI scan was carried out. Ramesh Kadam was to visit the hospital on Thursday to get the reports. Firstly Kadam started dilly-dallying and later he was calling names. Kadam even alleged Manoj Pawar, Assistant Police Inspector of taking bribe. Ramesh Kadam threatened the inspector stating that "I will not spend my whole life in the jail, one or the other day I will come out. Then I will teach you a lesson."
