A case of murder has been registered against unknown persons in connection with the death of 24-year-old aspiring actor Kritika Choudhary who was found dead in her Andheri Four Bungalows residence.
Her decomposed dead body was found on Monday around 7 pm. The Amboli police have registered a case of murder against unknown persons.
The incident came to light when her neighbours complained of a foul smell emanating from her flat. When the police investigated, they found the door locked from outside. “The AC in her room was on and hence the smell did not come out in the first one to two days. We are investigating the motive,” said Paramjit Singh, DCP, Zone 5.
Kritika hailed from Haridwar and used to reside at Bhairavnath SRA building, Andheri. She was apparently brutally murdered three to four days ago with a sharp weapon. After murdering her, the assailant allegedly locked the door from outside and fled.
Kritika was a small time actor who had acted in the TV series 'Savdhan India'. She had also acted in the Kangana Ranaut starrer ‘Rajjo’ and had had worked in few Balaji production TV serials, including 'Parichay'.
