A person died in an accident where the fence wall of a chawl collapsed in South Mumbai's Colaba. The accident happened around 3:00 pm on Sunday. Mohammad Akbar died in this accident.
The accident took place at Miya Chali, Ghazali Dargah area near Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 3 in Cuffe Parade area of Colaba. Around three in the afternoon, the protective wall of the chawl suddenly fell.

A 38-year-old young man, Mohammad Akbar, was buried under that wall. He was taken out and admitted to the nearby Ashwini Hospital. But doctors declared him dead before treatment.
