Mumbai: Police arrest gang for creating fake 10th,12th certificates

The Crime Branch officials have arrested a gang from Chembur area who were preparing fake certificates of class 10th-12th for INR 2,000- 5,000. Police have seized certificate preparation materials and a large quantity of fake certificates from the accused.


Crime Branch officials received information that some persons were selling fake certificates of 10th-12th class in the Kranti Nagar area of Sewri. Accordingly, these officers laid a trap and detained both of them. The accused informed the police that these fake certificates were being prepared in the Vashi Naka area of Chembur. Accordingly, the crime branch officers raided the house of Danish Khan (26) residing in Farrukh Galli, Vashi Naka, Chembur. It was revealed that fake certificates were being created on the computer.


It was revealed that along with fake certificates of class 10th-12th, the accused also made fake experience letters for INR 2000 to INR 5000. Police arrested Hussain Chaudhary (26), Salman Khan (21) and Mohammad Faiz Shaikh (21), who worked there along with Danish. The police seized a large number of fake certificates from them.
