Mumbai police arrested a man whose bike stunt with 2 girls went viral

On Sunday, Mumbai Police arrested a 24-year-old man, whose video of him performing bike stunts went viral. A police official informed PTI that the accused has cases registered against him at Antop Hill and Wadala TT police stations.

Under sections of the Motor Vehicles Act and relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) including 308 (attempt to commit culpable homicide), the arrest was made.

A video of a young man doing dangerous stunts on a bike with two young women in Mumbai has recently gone viral. After receiving this video, Mumbai Police registered a case against this young man. In this 13-second video, a young man is seen performing a stunt on two young women on a bike. Two young women are sitting one in front of the young man and one behind him and he is doing wheelie stunts.


This young man picked up the front wheel of a running bike and drove the bike for a few metres on one wheel. Two young women were also with him. Girls on bikes are seen gesturing, smiling. Also none of the three on the bike is seen wearing a helmet. The video of the stunt was shared by the Twitter handle @PotholeWarriors. This video has been watched by 1.73 lakh people so far.


Reacting to this video, Mumbai Traffic Police has tweeted. The police wrote that a case has been registered in this matter at the Bandra-Kurla complex police station. Attempts were being made to identify the accused.
