Almost a year after the death of Disha Salian, Mumbai Police has decided to close the probe in this regard. Disha Salin had died by suicide on June 8, 2020. She was briefly managing Sushant Singh Rajput, who was also found hanging from the ceiling of a room in his Bandra flat on June 14, 2020.

According to sources, they have found no evidence of foul play had been found in the case. Furthermore, they have also found no evidence to connect her death with that of Sushant Singh Rajput.

In the last one year, there have been multiple theories connecting the two deaths. Some of these are highly elaborated and even go on to claim that both of them had been murdered. One such theory was also floated by BJP MP Narayan Rane. He went on record and claimed that Disha had been "raped and then murdered" and there were some big names from Maharashtra politics and Bollywood involved. Rane went to claim that Disha had informed Sushant Singh Rajput about her rape and since then, he was being threatened by the same group which eventually went for a party at Sushant's house on June 13, and the next day, he was found dead.

Fans of the actor have been demanding for Disha and Sushant for the last one year. CBI has been probing the death of Rajput but has not declared its finding in the open as of now.

About the allegations of Disha attending a party, reports claim that police have checked the CCTV footage to establish that she had stepped out of the home only once to collect a take out. Furthermore, the post mortem report had ruled out the speculation that she was pregnant.
