In a school in Vikhroli, a physical education teacher sexually assaulted four female students on the pretext of punishment. After the incident, the angry parents beat up the concerned teacher and then handed him over to the police.
The incident took place at Mumbai Public School of Mumbai Municipal Corporation in Tagore Nagar, Vikhroli. After this incident, there was tension in the area.
The parents have accused Saurav Uchate, a physical education teacher of this school, of sexually harassing four female students. Some students informed their parents that this teacher was sexually harassing girls in the name of punishment. Later on Tuesday, the parents beat up the teacher and later handed him over to the police. In this regard, the Vikhroli police have also detained the parent and the process of filing a case against him is underway.
