Going out on vacation may cost someone his life is something that stands to be unfathomable, but this is what seemed to be on cards for Manan Kokin Gogri a 13-year-old kid. Turns out, Manan Kokin Gogri, who lived in Vikhroli, in Mumbai, went to Vikramgad in Palghar in Summer Camp. Around 120 children of that society had gone to a summer camp in Sanjan Nature Park in Palghar. The camp was organised by Tarun Mitra Mandal. On Friday, about 60 children including Manan went to swim in a pond but Manan, on the other hand, did not know how to swim. As a matter of fact, he was learning to swim. But somehow, swimming in this manner, before anyone could realise, he went into really deep waters and drowned.
The people present at the spot that the organisers did not make arrangements for life jackets. The police have arrested the organisers Jatin Ganger, Dolly Ganger and Zubein Chhabra along with the resort manager Vishal Sakpal and Vinayak Deshmukh.
