Actor Armaan Kohli was in custody for his alleged assault on girlfriend, Neeru Randhawa. Armaan Kohli had filed a petition at Bombay High Court to annul the charges on him in this case. The petition was accepted by the Bombay High Court, and the order to release Armaan has been handed over to the jail authorities. Justice R. M. Sawant and Justice Revathi Mohite-Dere heard the case on Friday.
During the hearing, Armaan Kohli confessed to his crime in the High Court and repented upon it. Arman Kohli's family made a settlement with Neeru Randhawa after which she withdrew the complaint filed against him. Randhwa has accepted the amount given by the Kohli family. She was present in the court during this hearing.
Along with this, the High Court ordered Armaan Kohli to donate ₹1,00,000 to the Tata Memorial Hospital for children and one ₹1,00,000 to the National Association for Blind.
