ATS Juhu Unit Team & Powai P.S.Team recovered old Indian Currency notes of Rs 500/- and Rs 1000/- denomination
totally valued at Rs 1,70,61,500/- from Ajay Rajendra Prasad Gupta (36).
The raid was conducted in the office, Universal Infotech ventures Pvt Ltd. located at Solaris on Saki Vihar road in Powai. Rajendra Prasad Gupta is a resident of Thakur Village, Kandivali. Ramgopal was contacted on his mobile number 9969238335. The accused person revealed that he went to deposit the said amount in RBI on 31 March at 50% penalty but his turn didn't come until 4.00 pm. He came back to the office with the amount and was caught red-handed.
