An inebriated person attacks police constable in Chembur

On occasion of Holi, police were deployed at various parts of the city to avoid any nuisance. A man in an inebriated condition attacked a police constable named Kashinath Gondhde in Ram Tekdi in Chembur.

Ramnath Soni (42) in an inebriated condition was screaming, using foul language standing in the middle of the road. When constable Kashinath Gondhde tried to calm him down, he attacked him.

On constable Gondhde’s complaint accused Ramnath Soni has been taken in police custody.
