The Kurar police have arrested three youth - Saliford (28), Mahendra Kotekar (28) and Manish Mistry (20) and a case filed against them under IPC section 354 (Molestation) and the Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences Act (2012) Act.
Police say the trio kidnapped two girls and molested other girls as well. The incident allegedly took place in Pimpripada where four accused molested the girls. A complaint was lodged against them by the family of one of the girls at 6 pm, informed Kiran Chavan, DCP Zone 12.
The fourth accused is absconding. The police are conducting further investigations in the case.
