Octroi officers held five tempos which were passing by Dahisar Check Naka without paying octroi charges. The tempos were parked outside Vaishali Nagar bus stop near Shiv Sangram office.
Mahboob Sheikh of Shiv Sangram reported about the parked tempos to the police. Dahisar police rushed to the spot immediately. All the drivers fled from the spot immediately.
Vigilance Department, BMC is probing further in the case under the aegis of the officer, Prashant Sankhe. All the five tempos have been taken into police custody. There are clothes inside the tempos shared Shanke with Mumbai Live. The team is probing further in the matter.
