A case of extortion has come in light from Kurar area, Malad. Complainant Mahesh Patil (45) has alleged accused of extorting Rs 10,000 from him. The victim refused him to which accused threatened to kill him.
The accused visited imitation jewellery workshop of Mahesh Patil on Saturday and Sunday. The accused did beat him black and blue. L. Vanmane, Senior Police Inspector has filed the complaint of extortion and murder warning against the accused.
