Wadala - Public toilet in Ambika Wadi, Mithagar in Wadala (East) has been collapsed. The incident took place on Thursday afternoon , in the incident four women got injured.
The public toilet was constructed through the funds allocated to corporator Kalidas Kolambakar in the year 2008-09. BMC didn't inform residents and gave the authority to a private company and started charging people Rs 70/month.
The condition of the toilet started worsening with every passing year and municipal corporation didn't bother fixing it. BMC have passed the monkey on to the private company saying wee don't know anything in regard with collapse and investigation will be carried out.
