A female police constable was subject to misbehaviour by an auto-rickshaw driver in Andheri on Friday morning when the former asked him to show his driving license. For now, Amboli police have arrested the driver and seized a fake reporter identity card.

On the day of the incident, female police constable Minaz Shabbir Sade (34) was operating the traffic near Andheri’s Lokhandwala Circle. Meanwhile, the accused auto driver Mohammad Kaleem Abdul Haleem (38) jumped the signal following which, Minaz stopped his vehicle and asked him to show his driving licence.

The license he showed had crossed its expiry period. Seeing this, Minaz asked him to pay the fine but instead of paying the fine, Mohammad started arguing with her and snatched away the driving licence from her. Along with this, he also threatened her with a fake reporter ID card stating that he would defame her via his newspaper.

Minaz complained about the same to Amboli Police and the accused was arrested in no time. He is in police custody and the police are further investigating the case.
