Govandi- An autorickshaw driver was assaulted on Wednesday by three youth who suspected him of having illicit relations with the mother of one of the three youth.
The auto driver Sharif Shaikh (24) was chatting with the mother of the accused, outside a mall in Chembur. On seeing this, the accused and his two friends assaulted the auto driver suspecting him of wrong intentions. The Chembur police have lodged a complaint and further investigation is on.
