RPF arrests trio for performing 'Kiki challenge' at Railway Station

Three Dharavi residents who performed the Kiki challenge stunt on July 29 were arrested on September 4, 2018, by Railway Police Force (RPF). Surah Gautam (23), Abdul Yusuf (22) and Kanhaiya Kumar (23) were caught after RPF personnel saw the video which was uploaded on July 30, 2018, on YouTube. On August 6, the RPF registered an offence against the trio.

The trio told RPF officials that they performed and shot the video on July 29 around 3:30 pm but uploaded it the next day.

D V Singh an official at CSTM was the one who first saw the video, alerted RPF and registered an FIR. Other officials said that Gautam who is a BSc (IT), Yusuf and Kumar (electronics engineers) posted it to earn money.

Last month, Nishant Shah (20), Dhruv Shah (23) and Shyam Sharma (24) were found performing dangerous stunts on trains and platforms. When the video went viral, the three men were present in the railway court at Vasai where they were ordered to clean Vasai railway station for three days.

Along with this, they were ordered to undertake an awareness drive to make people aware of dangerous railway stunts. The trio has been asked to do cleaning work from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
