Sahar traffic police constable Santosh Satpute was felicitated by joint commissioner (traffic) Milind Bharambe by giving him a cash prize of Rs. 2,500.
On 15 February 2017, Satpute was stationed at Vile Parle when he saw a thief snatched the purse of an old lady and started running. Satpute who witnessed the event, smartly catch hold the thief and handed him over to the police station. When Satpute was asked to share his ordeal, he said that it was his duty.
