Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was attacked with a knife by a thief after entering his residence. The thief stabbed Saif six times with a knife. After that, Saif was treated in the hospital for four days. It has been 10 days since the attack. The police have arrested the attacker and further investigation is going on in this matter. Police are collecting evidence in the assault case. After this attack, all the fingerprints of the assailant were collected by the forensic department of Saif's house. 


When these fingerprints and fingerprints of the arrested accused were checked, police found out that the fingerprints found in Saif's house and the fingerprints of accused Shariful Islam do not match, as per the report by NDTV.

Mumbai Police sent the fingerprints found in Saif's house to the CID's fingerprints bureau. The report that surfaced later said that the fingerprints found in Saif's house and the fingerprints of the accused Shariful did not match. The CID informed the police about this and said that the test report is negative. Now the Mumbai Police has started further investigation. It was suspected that more accused were involved in this case. 


Police found new and strong evidence
Meanwhile, the police investigating the attack on actor Saif Ali Khan have got more evidence. The shoes worn by the accused Mohammad Shariful Islam Shehzad alias Vijay Das (30) at the time of the crime have been seized by the police. Earlier, a piece of knife used in the attack, clothes were seized by the police. Shariful's clothes have blood stains and have been sent for forensic tests. Also, the identity card and driver's license of the accused, who is a citizen of Bangladesh, have already been taken into the hands of the police.
