In a shocking incident, a bus driver from Podar School in Santacruz was caught driving while using a Bamboo stick in place of a gear. The incident came to light after Mumbai Police caught him and discovered that the driver had been driving the bus without a gear.
Along with the bus driver, the school authorities are accountable for putting the lives of children at risk. This amounts to the question of security of the students. After the incident, Mumbai police arrested the driver, Rajkumar.
The police found out that for the past three days, the driver was using a Bamboo stick to change the gears from the gearbox. With the police arresting the driver, the school has also ordered a further inquiry into the same.

Rajkumar was caught on Wednesday after he smashed into a car. The car owner, to his shock, discovered that the bus driver had been driving his vehicle with virtually no gear. Later, the Khar resident filed a police complaint against the bus driver.
