Police have arrested the headmistress of a private school in the Mumbra area of Thane district, Maharashtra, for not reporting the molestation of a 10-year-old girl. The incident happened on the school premises on Tuesday morning, December 3.
The incident happened when an unknown man entered the classroom of the fifth-grade student. He was wearing shorts and a blue T-shirt. The girl was alone in the room at the time. Seeing that, the man exposed the girl and sexually abused her.
