Ghatkopar - An overhead pipeline, part of the fire management system in the basement parking area of the Wadhwa complex, collapsed on Saturday, killing a security guard on duty. The freak accident took place on Saturday at 8 am. 30 cars, parked in the basement, have suffered damages because of the mishap. The security guard, who sustained severe injuries, was hospitalied but succumbed to the injuries later in the day. The police and fire brigade officials are now inspecting the area to probe the reason for this accident. A criminal negligence case has been registered against the safety contractors and the builder of the complex.
