Shiv Sena candidate Pradeep Sharma has been accused of allegedly forcing himself inside the polling station and threatening an election officer amid the ongoing voting process on October 21. 

As this happened, Virar Police registered a case against the encounter specialist Pradeep Sharma who contested the assembly elections in Maharashtra from Nalasopara constituency on Shiv Sena ticket. 

On the polling day, Sharma visited a polling booth at Chandansar in Virar East and was talking to the voters inside the centre. After an election officer intervened, Sharma got agitated and threatened the officer on election duty.

Later, Election Officer Balasaheb Malonde filed a complaint with the Virar Police and Sharma was booked under sections 186, 504, 506, and 131(1)(2), 171(b) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
