Bhandup – The couple wanted in cheating cases registered in the city were arrested by the Bhandup police from Vasai. They had promised many people by lakhs of rupees in return of semen donation. As many as 26 complaints were registered against them in this connection. The couple had got the idea from actor Anshuman Khurana’s 2012 movie ‘Vicky Donor’. The accused, Tarbej Khan alias Salim, is a resident of Kerala and he had married with Renuka Jadhav. As they had no means to earn livelihood, they started cheating people by promising them huge returns on their donation of semen. They used to claim that donor would get Rs 4.70 lakh per month after their semen gets tested at a Kochin-based laboratory. Many had fallen prey to the tactics of this couple.
