A teacher named Prashant Parshuram Dhotre has been arrested from Mumbra by Amboli police in relation to the Class X CBSE paper leak.

The police have informed that Dhotre was appointed as the invigilator at the examination centre and as he uploaded the question paper on social media, it went viral.

Earlier on March 19, the English paper was leaked from MVM Swamy Muktdaan High School. In this matter, the police arrested four people including one student and seized 11 mobile phones. They were accused of sharing the leaked question paper with eight students. Another teacher named Rohit Amulraj Singh was also arrested in this matter.

The police’s investigation narrated that the students in Rohit’s private classes solved the leaked paper and Rohit named Mumbra’s Shakhs Firoz Khan during the investigation. Firoz was also under the investigation radar in this matter and he was appointed as invigilator at Kids Paradise School.

As the investigation moved further, it came out that Prashant Parshuram Dhotre gave this paper to Firoz and the leaked paper was passed to Rohit.
