Bhandup student stabbed to death outside his college

The Police are currently investigating the murder while the motive behind the crime is still unknown.

A 17-year-old college student was stabbed to death outside his college, Smt. Ram Kali Sanman Singh Junior College, Bhandup on Thursday at around 12:15 pm. The victim has been identified as Sushil Kumar Verma and the police are conducting further probe regarding the murder.

Bhandup resident, Sushil Kumar was studying in the XII Science at the college. On the afternoon of July 26, when Sushil was in his class, suddenly an unknown assailant entered the classroom with his face covered with a handkerchief, calling Sushil out to talk. As Sushil went out of the class with him, the assailant took him outside the college and fled after stabbing him several times.  

When Sushil did not show up in the class after 30-40 minutes, his friends went out to look for him only to find him lying in a pool of blood. 

The friends immediately informed the teachers who rushed Sushil to the hospital. However, the doctors declared him dead on arrival. After receiving information about the murder, the police reached the crime spot and started investigating.  

They have questioned his friends to know the motive behind Sushil’s murder but there have been no developments regarding it. Currently, police are checking the college’s CCTV footage to find out about the culprit’s identity.
