Mumbai Crime Branch books Suka Pasha and his father in an extortion case

The Mumbai Crime Branch will leave no stone unturned to make a watertight case against Suka Pasha who is an accused in Nashik’s arms haul case. On Thursday morning, Mumbai Crime Branch booked Pasha in a new case of extortion and arrested his father Akbar Pasha as well.

The father-son duo threatened a businessman in Sewri and tried for an extortion. However, the businessman did not budge and went to the police station and filed a complaint under sections 385, 387 and 34 of IPC. Acting on a complaint, the police arrested Suka Pasha’s father Akbar on Thursday morning.

Suka Pasha was in Jaipur jail in connection with Nashik’s arms haul case but after a few days, he was out on bail. In order to maintain his terror, he and his father started threatening the businessman.

We have arrested Suka Pasha and his father Akbar Pasha for threatening a businessman. On Thursday, we will present him to the court,” Ajay Sawant, senior PI, Anti-Extortion Cell.
