RTE scam- Antop Hill police arrest 2 civic employees

Antop Hill police have arrested two civic employees and one dealer regarding CBM school’s RTE scam. Arrested people include 37 years old Shailesh Jankar who works as a peon at KEM hospital and 35 years old Ramdas Jadhav who works as a watchman at Govandi’s M East ward office. While the third accused, who is 40 years old, Prakash Kadam is a dealer. These three accused had made fake birth certificates and so they were arrested.

CBM school received various applications under RTE for the admission of first grade. When the principal of the school investigated further she came to know that many applications were filed on the same day and so she decided to investigate. After an investigation, she found out that few applications had fake birth certificates attached.

Prior to this arrest, Antop Hill police had arrested 37 years old Kamrutthin Sheikh, 42 years old Yunus Baza, 32 years old Imran Sayyed, 29 years old Farzan, 37 years old Mumtaz, 40 years old Saeen, 37 years old Zareena and 26 years old Raabiya parents for submitting fake birth certificates.
