A collision with an express train proved fatal for two bike riders as they were crossing the railway tracks at the level crossing. Although the signal was red and the vehicles were supposed to stop, the bike riders chose to ignore the signal and went on to cross the tracks when the collision occurred at Diva station.
As per police reports, the accident happened at around 11:00 am near Diva station. The bike riders haphazardly crossed the tracks and died on the spot after the collision.
The names of both the riders haven't been disclosed yet whereas police investigation is going on.
