Bandra- Two persons travelling in a speeding Tata Manza were critically injured when their car turned turtle soon after exiting the Bandra Worli sea link at the Reclamation end.
The accident occurred at in the wee hours of the morning, when the car was running at a high speed towards Bandra from Worli. Both the driver and the co passenger were severely injured and were rushed to the nearby Lilavati Hospital.
Initial investigations indicate that a tyre burst could have caused the accident, since the driver was not found to be under the influence of alcohol. A case of rash driving has however been registered. Both persons are still critical.
