Between Dombivli-Thakurli railway stations, two miscreants pelted stones at Titwala-CSMT air-conditioned local train around 9 am on Thursday. A local woman was injured in this stone pelting. As soon as a complaint was filed with the railway administration in this matter, the Dombivli railway police arrested the two miscreants after checking the CCTV footage of the Thakurli railway station area.

As usual on Friday morning, while this local was between Thakurli and Dombivli railway stations, a stone was thrown at the window of the air-conditioned local from a neighbouring settlement near Thakurli. As the stone was thrown at high speed, the stone broke the glass and hit a woman sitting near the window. She suffered minor injuries.
The matter was immediately informed to the railway administration through Twitter. This information was given to Dombivli Railway, Railway Security Force. The police immediately checked the CCTV footage of the Thakurli railway station area. At this time, two people in an inebriated state were found sitting along the railway track in a settlement near Thakurli and were throwing stones. The police traced them at Thakurli railway station area and arrested them immediately. Chief Public Relations Officer of Central Railway Shivraj Manaspure informed that a case has been registered against them at Lohmarg Police Station.
