Govandi - Two people died in the pit which was dug near Deonar dumping ground's signal. Incident took place on Sunday morning at 6 am. Both of them used to wash the bikes, in order to fetch water from the pit, Mohammad Iqrar (26) fell inside the 10 feet deep hole which was dug for setting up water pipeline. Mohammad Imran Mustafa Khan (28) rushed to his friend's help and fell down in the hole. Locals informed police and fire brigade team, but it was too late as both of them died. Bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
