An accident took place in Nalasopara on the day of Eid. Two young men who returned home after offering sacrifice drowned in a well. One of them has been evacuated, while the search for the other is on.
The incident took place at 11:30 am on Thursday in Appa Nagar, near Tulinj Crematorium, east of Nalasopara. Two brothers Aman Sheikh (19) and Adnan Sheikh (23) had returned home after offering Qurbani.
They went down to swim in the well located here. But as the well was deep, they drowned. Adnan was evacuated and admitted to hospital for treatment. The search for Aman is on.
