Mobile thefts have increased in the last one week and complaints as well. Wadala GRP took the cognizance of the increasing complaints and decided to take action against it. Following to which they cracked down on a gang of mobile thieves and arrested three of the mobile thieves. In all 14 expensive mobile handsets were recovered from these mobile thieves. These 14 mobile phones are worth Rs. 1,52,336. Wadala GRP has arrested these thieves under section 379, 411 of IPC.
After arresting the thieves and recovering the stolen mobiles, GRP’s senior PI I B Sarode handed over the mobile phones to the complainants.
