Girl escapes death by a whisker as fellow commuters save her in a Mumbai local train

A video went viral where a young woman was seen adjusting her clothes while standing on the foot board and suddenly she bends out and slips after getting hit by a local train coming from the opposite direction and dangles above the tracks

Even though a number of announcements and warning signs are waved by Indian Railways about safety, many commuters put their lives in danger by standing at the footboard or by performing dangerous stunts while onboard a Mumbai local train. Recently, one such video went viral where a young woman is seen slipping out of a train and dangling briefly above the tracks, before being pulled back up by a fellow commuter.

For now, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) is making inquiries into the video clip and are finding out as to who exactly shot the video.

The video went viral and started doing the rounds on Whatsapp. In the footage, a young woman can be seen standing on the footboard of a running local train with a pair of earphones plugged into her ears.

She can be seen straightening her clothes a couple of times and just as a local train passes by in the opposite direction, she bends out and loses grip of the door handle and slips out. Meanwhile, her fellow commuters catch her by her clothes as she dangles above the tracks. The scared woman then slumped to the floor of the coach and dodged death by a whisker.
