Various political leaders and organisations are trying to give religious and political narrative to Uran’s gruesome murder case of a young woman is not going down well with the residents of Uran. The citizens of Uran, who are standing united after the murder of the young woman, are expressing their anger and strong displeasure.


Uran has no history of conflict between the two communities during the pre-independence period and even after. But due to the statements of political leaders, the social harmony of Uran has disturbed. The entire community has come together to protest the brutal murder of a young woman in Uran. The public is taking the main role of justice for the young woman and execution of the accused. But after the death of the young woman, many people are trying to capitalise on the issue to their own benefit including some political parties. The citizens expressed their anger by tearing down the tribute banners put up with the name of the politician.

After the body of a 22-year-old girl from Uran was brought to the government hospital of Uran for autopsy on Saturday, hundreds of citizens rushed there. It included leaders of various parties. Sensitised leaders expressed grief over the killing in front of the crowd in the hospital premises. At this time various social media and mass media demanded that the accused be immediately arrested and sentenced to death.
