The Pant Nagar police arrested a 22-year-old youth on Sunday for posting a controversial morphed photo of Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath superimposed with a Maratha warrior in an insulting pose, on Facebook.
According to the Pant Nagar police, the incident came into the news when the 22-year-old posted controversial photos on his profile. The photo went viral in no time after it was posted, due to which the local residents objected and took the matter to the Pant Nagar police station and lodged a complaint against the accused. The police have booked the youth under section 195 of the Indian Penal Code.
