Kalaghodha: Renowned Kalaghoda has again got its glory, A statue of black Horse has been fixed to the place. Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis will be inaugurating the statue on Tuesday.
The statue is of 25 feet height and made of Bronze by artist Shrihari Bhosale and designed by Alfaz Miller. Earlier during British rule, a statue of Horse was placed here but BMC has removed all the statues fixed up by the British. From a long time Kalaghoda association was requesting BMC to fix the statue and finally after a long time, the statue is fixed.
At this event MP Arvind Sawant, BMC Commissioner Ajoy Mehta, Additional Municipal Commissioner Pallavi Dharade, MLA Ashish Shelar, MLA Rajpurohit, Shrihari Bhosale, and other BMC officers were present.
