Cultural festivals are an amalgamation of talent and competition as they cherish and test out an individual’s talent. In an event of the same kind, the NSS Sydenham College organised a two-day festival which brought together several talented individuals to conclude Bharari’18 on a positive note with a social message at the end.

The festival held on December 19 and 20, witnessed several cultural events such as wall painting, debate, essay competition, street play and a personality contest. The major attraction of Day One was the quiz competition which was the opening event of the day.

On the second day of Bharari’18, the students took creative liberty to shed light on various aspects of the society by street play. The event was judged by Sachin Patil, a BMC teacher and a theatre artist. After which, the festival was concluded with the personality contest, Mr. and Miss Bharari which was judged by FM Gold RJ, Rashmi Varang and actress, Ashlesha Singh.

Eventually, the two-day festival finished with the prize distribution ceremony and the students carried home with them, the social message that they received through the numerous street plays.
