Walkeshwar- Governor Vidyasagar Rao launched the second volume of the tome 'Global Sindhis - Inheritors of the Indus Valley Civilisation' at the Raj Bhavan on Wedneday.
He said restoring the cultural heritage of the Sindhi community is a challenge for Sindhi community, which should encourage non-Sindhis to learn the Sindhi language and know more about Sindhi culture. Censor Board chairman Pahlaj Nihalani, filmmaker Govind Nihalani, film producer Ramesh Taurani, former city sheriff Kiran Shantaram and additional director general of Doordarshan Mukesh Sharma were present at this occasion.
